Rehearsal for the building of mutual support, or, the display of persistence in a moment of silencing through the continual act of presence and becoming is
a video performance work where I engage a practice of circular breathing as a metaphor alluded to in the title. Thinking beyond the speech act as a
privileged site of agency, the breath in its continual arrival (via circular breathing) embodies and formalizes a different form of subjectivity particularly
for those not afforded the ability to speak or who have been historically silenced.
