Curated by Amina Ross and Justin Chance, ECLIPSING challenges the concept of the eclipse as a metaphor for disempowerment and creates a variety of platforms for artists who have found inspiration and strength in their own definitions of darkness. The Festival offers a constellation of events, experiences, and exhibitions including: a workshop series, a performance festival, a vegan marketplace, a group exhibition, a performative lecture, and a film/video screening. These events converge around the astrological occasion of the first lunar eclipse of 2018.

I'll be presenting a live version of the work Rehearsal for the building of mutual support, or, the display of persistence in a moment of silencing through the continual act of becoming as a set of durational performances throughout the evening.
