In partnership with Nashville in Harmony, Spectrum is a collaborative concert featuring the world premiere of a new jointly commissioned work by composer TJ Cole. Cole is known for her colorful, imaginative works. For instrumental ensemble and chorus, her work will explore the gender spectrum including visual art and projections integrated with the musical creation. Additional works on the program by Intersection include "Mania for Violoncello Solo and Ensemble" by Esa-Pekka Salonen featuring cellist Michael Samis and "Voodoo Child" by Australian composer Liza  Lim. Both Salonen and Lim's works feature virtuosity, emotion and wild passion. Nashville in Harmony will also present a variety of exciting pieces in a concert full of color!
